The Shopping Boundaries data set includes the geographic boundaries of more than 3,000 shopping malls, districts, centers and outlets across 100 metro areas in the United States. Unlike the data found on popular search engines and directories that only show shopping locations, Maponics Shopping Boundaries™ includes the boundary outlining shopping areas and adjacent parking, along with the name, address and type of shopping area. Compared to simple proximity-based ad targeting, Shopping Boundaries can be used as geofences to direct ads only to consumers who are within defined shopping areas. This data set provides a missing piece of the location based advertising model—allowing precise targeting and increasing response rates, traffic and ROI.
Shopping Boundaries is available as a stand-alone product but can also be used alongside other Maponics products that define where people live, work and play.
