Browse Business Cycle Indicators Data
Overview
These series comprise the old BCI data set which was published in the Survey of Current Business. The BCI is a composite of indexes used to forecast changes in the direction of the overall economy of a country. They can be used to confirm or predict highs and lows of the business cycle. These same series are now published by the Conference Board in a periodical named Business Cycle Indicators. Since that time, several series have been revised. Yet, many others are available in other places at this site.
