This dataset consists of a table of 60 rows and 10 columns.
Covers period April 1, 2000 to July 1, 2006. Covers metropolitan statistical areas as defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget as of December 2005. All geographic boundaries for 2000 to 2006 population estimates are defined as of January 1, 2006. For definitions and components of all metropolitan and micropolitan areas, see Appendix II. Minus sign (-) indicates decrease
- The estimated components of population change will not sum to the total population change due to
the process of controlling to national totals.
- Broomfield County, Colorado was formed from parts of Adams, Boulder, Jefferson,
and Weld Counties, Colorado on November 15, 2001 and is
coextensive with Broomfield city. For purposes of defining and presenting data
for metropolitan statistical areas, Broomfield city is
treated as if it were a county at the time of the 2000 census.
- The portion of Sullivan city in Crawford County, Missouri, is legally
part of the St. Louis, Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. Data shown here do not include this area.
